Sawing method is the basic method for mining soft stone. It is suitable for mining of steep ore body, horizontal or small dip ore body and rock mass layer thickness ≥ 10m.

Even for the thin soft stone ore body, as long as the product price and scrap rate can meet the requirements of economic mining, and the scrap specification is appropriate, it can also be mined by sawing method; The fractured ore body with the same conditions can also be mined by sawing.

Wet sawing equipment is not suitable for ore bodies with developed karst caves and many open fissures, but chain arm saw and diamond rope saw equipped with dry cutting tools can be suitable for ore bodies with developed karst caves and many open fissures.

Splitting method is not suitable for soft stone mining.
